Lombardi Praises Supreme Court Decision Overturning Roe v. Wade

Is Time To Heed Constitution and Return Issue Of Abortion Back To The States

Manhattan, IL/June 24, 2022… Today, Jack Lombardi, Republican Congressional candidate for Illinois’ 14th Congressional District praised the United States Supreme Court decision that overturned Roe v, Wade. Lombardi said that Roe v. Wade was a prime example of legislating from the bench and it perverted the Constitution. He said today’s ruling heeds the United States Constitution and returns the issue of abortion back to the states where it belongs.

“Everyone who knows me, knows that I am staunchly pro-life,” said Jack Lombardi. “But today’s decision is not about abortion, it is about the Constitution. Roe v. Wade was a blemish on the Supreme Court. It was a perversion of law, where unelected justices legislated from the bench. Today’s ruling brings back balance and returns the issue of abortion back to the states where it belongs. Today is a victory for the rule of law and the United States Constitution.”
